OCCA/YSK主催イベントSECT＠VENTが2月27日に最終回を迎える。”SECT FINAL”のヘッドライナーを務めるのは、オランダから最先端のシグネチャーサウンドで注目を集めるLOEK FREY、革新的なプラットフォーム Minimal Collective の共同設立者BRENT JACKOの２名。
開催直前プログラムとして2月25日〈SUPER DOMMUNE〉ではLOEK FREY, BRENT JACKOの出演に加えSECT主催のOCCAとYSKが登壇する。
LOEK FREYは、OCCA/YSKが以前から招聘を熱望していたアムステルダム拠点のアーティストであり、IDM、テクノ、ドラムンベース、ブレイクビートを横断しながら、自身のレーベル OQAD を主宰し、既存の枠に収まらない独自のシグネチャー・サウンドを確立してきた。その音楽は、すでに世界中のアーティスト、リスナー、ダンサーを魅了しており、現代電子音楽の最前線を切り拓く存在と言える。
BRENT JACKO は、洗練されたデザインとキュレーションによって、電子音楽、アーティスト、インタビュー、映像、テキストを横断的に発信するWEBプラットフォーム Minimal Collective の共同設立者。現代音楽やアート産業の裏側に深く根ざしてきた彼が提示する、実験性と抑制を軸としたパフォーマンスは重要な見どころとなるだろう。

●Loek Frey

Operating from an elusive abyss, Loek Frey belongs to one of the most promising Äb0talents emerging from the Dutch scene. Immune to external constraints, the OQAD Äb0label head is paving the way for a newfound sound within contemporary electronic Äb0music. Whether it’s IDM, techno, drum-and-bass, or breakbeat, Loek manages to Äb0fuse an unmatched sonic spectrum into a distinctive aesthetic at the collision point Äb0of the organic and mechanic. Äb0Being a free mind with meticulous attention to detail, the Amsterdam-based artist explores the far reaches of experimentalism and sound design through a razor-sharp minimalistic scope. His work can be described as texturized, pulsing, and cinematic. Loek’s musical outlet is his liberation. When in the studio, his natural drive towards the illogical and his obsession with order are in constant conflict, resulting in a chain reaction of unpredictable outcomes. It’s this exact friction that leads to the unrivalled force of his creations. While performing either as DJ or live, during peak time or sit down - Loek never fails to channel his liminal space of frequencies, resulting in appearances at places such as De School, Ankali, and Tresor. His productional oeuvre covers infinite tempos, lengths, and moods, which he manifests through his OQAD imprint and releases on labels such as Omen Wapta. While he’s only at the start of it all, his signature sound has been captivating artists, listeners, and dancers around the world. Loek Frey can’t be boxed except within a world of his own.

捉えがたい深淵から活動するLoek Freyは、オランダのシーンから登場した最も有望な才能のひとりである。外的制約に一切縛られることなく、レーベル〈OQAD〉の主宰として、現代エレクトロニック・ミュージックにおける新たなサウンドの地平を切り拓いている。
IDM、テクノ、ドラムンベース、ブレイクビートといったジャンルを横断しながら、オーガニックとメカニックが衝突する臨界点において、比類なき音響スペクトラムを融合し、唯一無二の美学へと昇華させている。自由な精神と細部への徹底したこだわりを併せ持つアムステルダム拠点のこのアーティストは、鋭利でミニマルな視座を通して、実験性とサウンドデザインの最果てを探求している。その作品は、豊かな質感を持ち、脈動し、そして映画的であると形容できる。Loekにとって音楽は解放そのものである。スタジオでは、不条理へと向かう本能的衝動と、秩序への強迫的な執着とが絶えず衝突し、その摩擦が予測不能な連鎖反応を引き起こす。まさにこの緊張関係こそが、彼の創造物に比類なき力を与えているのである。

●Brent Jacko

Brent Jacko is an Amsterdam-based artist and co-founder of Minimal Collective. His work moves between sound, space, and context, shaping performances in which experimentation and restraint are leading. Deeply embedded in the backrooms of the contemporary music and arts industry, he has curated and performed across contexts: from hazy clubs to attentive listening spaces, honing a practice that favours long-form development over immediacy.

ブレント・ジャッコはアムステルダムを拠点に活動するアーティストであり、Minimal Collectiveの共同創設者でもある。彼の作品は、サウンド、空間、そしてコンテクストのあいだを横断しながら、実験性と抑制を主軸としたパフォーマンスを形作っている。
現代の音楽およびアートシーンの深層に身を置きながら、彼は霞がかったクラブ空間から、集中したリスニングのための空間に至るまで、さまざまな文脈のなかでキュレーションとパフォーマンスを行ってきた。そうした活動を通じて、即効性よりも時間をかけた長い展開を重視する独自の実践を磨き上げている。

●OCCA

Based in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan, and anchoring the revered club Precious Hall with his ongoing “ARCHIV” series, he stands as a singular force in the Japanese scene, relentlessly pushing the boundaries of sonic expression while curating events such as Telepath/Womb, Sect/Vent, and Invisible/Circus Osaka. Drawing from the diverse musical perspectives and spiritual depth he has absorbed through his exploration of his own unique psychedelics, he transforms these influences into multidimensional structures on the dance floor through active mixing and meticulous construction. He aims to deconstruct even the audience’s sense of space and time, expanding their perceptual processing abilities and guiding them into unknown realms. Recognized for his rare presence, he has performed extensively at leading clubs and festivals across Japan and worldwide. In recent years, he has deepened his resonance with Spekki Webu, System Revival, and Axces Recordings, propelling his psychedelic network into an ambitious new phase.

日本の北海道/札幌に在り聖域と称されるPrecious Hallでの「ARCHIV」をホームとしながら、Telepath/Womb、Sect/Vent、Invisible/Circus Osaka などのオーガナイズに加え、未知なる表現を探求し続ける日本テクノシーンにおける特異点的存在。 独自のサイケデリクスを探求する中で吸収してきた多様な音楽観と精神性を、能動的なミキシングと緻密な構築力で形象化し、ダンスフロアに多次元構造を生み出す。空間や時間感覚さえも分解し、体験者の知覚情報処理能力を拡張する事を目的としている。 その類稀な存在を見出され、アジア・ヨーロッパ諸国での定期的なブッキングや、国内外の主要クラブ/フェスティバルでのプレイを重ねてきた。近年は Spekki Webu、System Revival、Axces Recordings と深く共鳴し、彼のサイケデリックネットワークは新たなフェイズへと突入している。

●YSK

Founder of EXPLORE / sound space α. Born in Kitakyushu, Japan. YSK has performed extensively across Japan, from underground clubs to outdoor festivals, and has toured internationally, appearing at venues such as Säule at Berghain and Ankali, as well as throughout Europe, Australia, Mexico, and across Asia. His mixes have also been released on labels around the world. He is the founder of sound space α, runs the party and podcast platform “Undulate,” and recently launched the label “EXPLORE,” demonstrating a wide-ranging scope of activity. His DJ style is rooted in techno, layering three-dimensional textures to build organic, evolving narratives within his sets. Since 2021, he has also co-founded SECT with OCCA, introducing a new movement and perspective into the scene.

EXPLORE/sound space α。北九州出身。日本全域のClubから野外Partyへの出演、Säule in Berghain,Ankaliを始め欧州各国、オーストラリア、メキシコ、アジア全域へのツアー、そして世界各国のLabelからのMixリリース。sound space α 主宰。 PartyとPodcastを運営する”Undulate" 新たに始動したLabel "EXPLORE" その活動は多岐に至る。DJスタイルはTechnoを基軸としながら立体的なテクスチャーのサウンドを重ね、有機的にストーリーを作っていく。2021年よりOCCAと共にSECTを始動しシーンに新たな一石を投じている。
