イタリアとイランにルーツを持つDJ／プロデューサー、Sciahriar "Sciahri" Tavakoliは、2014年にIlian TapeからリリースしたデビューEP『Mysterious Love』を機に、テクノ・シーンにおける重要な存在としてその名を刻んできた。
Sciahriの作品は、テクノというジャンルが持つ多様な可能性を横断しながら、ダンスフロアで機能するグルーヴと、質感や音響そのものを探究する実験性とをシームレスに融合させている。その多面的なアプローチはDJセットにも反映されており、機能性と探究性を自在に行き来する独自の世界観を築き上げている。
これまでWarm Up、Non Series、Clergy、Semantica、Mord、47といった、現代テクノを代表する名門レーベルから作品を発表し、シーンにおける確固たる地位を確立してきた。また、2017年には自身のレーベル〈Sublunar Records〉を設立。現代テクノの進化に寄与するプラットフォームとして活動を続けており、Temudo、D-Leria、Cirkle、Oscar Mulero、Kangding Ray、Adriana Lopez、Palemanなど、ベテランから新鋭まで幅広いアーティストの作品を送り出している。
2022年には、アンビエント／エクスペリメンタル・テクノに焦点を当てた新たなライブ・プロジェクトを始動。世界初演となったテヘラン・コンテンポラリー・サウンズ・フェスティバルでのパフォーマンスは、テクノの境界を押し広げ、新たな音響領域を切り拓こうとする彼の姿勢を鮮やかに示した。さまざまなプロジェクトと〈Sublunar Records〉での活動を通じて、Sciahriは現代テクノのサウンドを絶えず更新し続けている。機能性と実験性、クラブカルチャーと音響芸術を横断しながら、ダイナミックに進化し続ける音楽的ランドスケープを創造する、現代テクノ・シーンを代表するクリエイターの一人である。そんなSciahriが6/27土のVENTでのPARTYの後にDOMMUNEでPLAY！是非STUDIOへ！
Italo/Iranian DJ and Producer Sciahriar ‘Sciahri’ Tavakoli has been a significantpresence in the Techno scene since his 2014 debut EP ‘Mysterious Love’ on Ilian Tape.Sciahri's work explores the full spectrum of Techno seamlessly blending functionalparadigms with texture-focused experimentation. This diverse approach is also reflectedin his multifaceted DJ sets.
Sciahri has cemented his influence in the Techno community through releases on someof the genre's most esteemed record labels including Warm Up Non Series ClergySemantica Mord and 47. In parallel he has been running his own label SublunarRecords since 2017 contributing to the evolution of contemporary Techno. SublunarRecords has released music from both established and emerging artists such asTemudo D-Leria Cirkle Oscar Mulero Kangding Ray Adriana Lopez and Paleman.
In 2022, Sciahri debuted a new live project focused on ambient/experimental Techno with a world premiere at the Tehran Contemporary Sounds festival. This project underscores his commitment to pushing the boundaries of Techno and exploring new sonic territories.
Through his various projects and his label, Sciahri continues to shape the sound of modern Techno, creating a dynamic and evolving musical landscape.
